The former Hancock's Brewery can be seen from miles away and at its peak employed half the working population of Wiveliscombe, Somerset. The brewery sadly closed in the 1960s and the buildings are now divided into residential and business units. Exmoor Ales, one of two local breweries, does, however, operate from a unit on the edge of what was the old Hancock's brewery site.
